Product Overview
The JCU-1000 Oil Conductivity Sensor is designed for real-time, online monitoring of the conductivity of fluids such as ethylene glycol coolant, ethylene glycol hydraulic oil, fire-resistant oil, and lubricating oil. Conductivity levels can indicate fluid aging, degradation, contamination, the need for oil changes, oil mixing, and water ingress. Continuous monitoring of fluid condition improves condition-based maintenance efficiency, prevents failures, extends equipment maintenance and oil change intervals, and reduces equipment operating costs.
The JCU-1000 Conductivity Sensor utilizes electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technology to measure the impedance spectrum of fluid samples, thereby determining the health status of the tested substance. The impedance spectrum can detect multiple parameters, enabling the assessment of additive depletion, monitoring of aging levels, and identification of contamination.
The JCU-1000 helps users improve the health management of their equipment assets. By providing real-time monitoring data to support maintenance decisions, it helps prevent equipment malfunctions and safety incidents caused by fluid aging and contamination.
Applications
Ethylene glycol coolants, ethylene glycol hydraulic fluids, fire-resistant fluids, lubricants, and other fluids serve as the “lifeblood” of major equipment. Any deterioration in fluid performance directly leads to malfunctions in cooling systems and critical components, making it a primary cause of equipment failures and serious accidents. The JCU-1000 provides 24/7 continuous monitoring of the aging and contamination levels of equipment coolants, helping users prevent or mitigate safety incidents caused by coolant failure.
The JCU-1000 is widely applicable in liquid-cooled energy storage, data center liquid cooling systems, and across industries such as power generation, mining, cement, shipping, defense, industrial manufacturing, papermaking, petrochemicals, transportation, metallurgy, aviation, oil fields, and ports. Examples include: cold plate liquid cooling systems, wind turbine gearboxes, aircraft/helicopter gearboxes, hydraulic transmission systems, machining centers, steam turbines, gearboxes, electric vehicle motor cooling equipment, and gasoline/diesel engines.
